During our absence we are renting out a newly renovated holiday cottage in one of the most picturesque areas of Greece on the outskirts of the quaint village of Lafkos in southern Pelion. However, it is above all our neighborhood which enables all kinds of vacation dreams to become true.

On the one hand, just a two-minute walk away, Lafkos has the most beautiful village square far and wide, with great restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery and no cars, as well as the oldest coffee shop in Greece, which opened in 1785.

At the other hand starts the lush nature directly below our terrace, which also offers a great unobstructed panoramic view over the entire southern Pelion.

In addition, both coasts of the peninsula with their very different character can be reached in a few minutes by car.

There is a plenty of crockery and necessary cooking utensils at your disposal, like hob, oven, smoothie maker, Espresso machine or dishwasher and a dining table with 6 seats.

We love the philosophy of the running kitchen. The pantry has everything you need and offers a wide range of food, drinks and herbs.

Sleeping

Upstairs are two lovingly bedrooms, with an exceptional view over the green valleys and the little village, Lafkos. 

There is additional space for a baby crib or mattress too.

Wooden cabinets providing enough storage capacity for fashion, winter gear and summer season together. 

Linen curtains and wooden shutters in any room ensure that the modern holiday cottage in Greece can be completely darkened.

Balcony

The bedrooms have wooden parquet floor and a large balcony with a fantastic panorama.

Living room

The living room has additional a very comfortable sleeping couch and a single bed for three guests more.

There is more than enough space to have a drink, read a book, listen to music or watch a movie, connecting your device to our HIFI sound system via 24-bit Bluetooth.

Workspace

Also, a small workspace is available, with a laser printing device.

Bathroom

The main bathroom is located at the second floor, and a guest-toilette in the first. Additionally, exists an extraordinary outdoor-shower, useable almost the whole year.

Our lovely Airbnb in Greece has many beautiful amenities. One of the most outstanding is the large garden with six levels and its own well.

At the base of the cottage with view spends a pergola shadow combined with an impressing massive natural stone table.

The structure is constructed in accordance with the traditional Pelion mansion design, utilizing a combination of solid concrete and steel.

Now the Pelion cottage is completely fresh renovated and modernly equipped, combining the rural charm of country style with a touch of modern architecture.

Carefully integrated is modern technology such Hue lighting, brand new Daikin air conditioning system or solar thermal.

We installed new plumbing and electrical, replaced the rough plaster and have lovingly renovated the kitchen, floor and the fireplace.

The lovely Airbnb in South Pelion has a pretty good internet connection including LAN & Wi-Fi.

Use of private car, bikes, motorcycle or motorboat

If you are interested to use our own private vehicles, they are at your disposal and ready for an individual wear and tear fee after consultation.

General Information

Usually the space is for 4–5 people (like we are), but in exceptional cases (like double family’s or small hiking groups) we can accommodate of course more persons.

ACCESS FOR GUESTS

Cottage and garden are at the guests’ complete and sole disposal. On arrival, you will find towels and fresh blankets. The beds will be prepared for you. Most of our guests need their privacy, so our caring service will visit the location only if needed. If you stay longer, we will make sure that the apartment is cleaned regularly and that you get enough fresh blankets and towels.

CHECK-IN

The official check in is after 3pm, check out before 11am. But most of the time we can arrange this flexibly. We also accept a check in after midnight.

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTICES

We offer insured car & motorcycle, 5 bicycles and a motorboat for an individual wear and tear fee after consultation. Parking is free, but the 200-meter road through the village is a bit small. Therefore, we recommend parking on the close outskirts of the village, after you have dropped your luggage or shopping.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The bus is not far away, but it runs only 4 times a day. The main bus station in Volos offers connections to all regional and long-distance buses in Greece. 

HOUSE RULES

Feel at home and respect the simple rules of decency. Respect your neighbors, don’t make noise or dirt. No illegal downloads. For exclusive use by the tenants of the cottage in a village. Strangers must be registered if they stay longer or overnight. The use of the holiday apartment as an office, showroom, photo or film set is not permitted. In case you damage something, you should pay the replacement. The same applies if you lose your house keys.
