Discover unique mountain villages

The Pelion area invites you to explore its rich history with over 40 mountain villages built by skilled stonemasons from the Epirus region.

The self-governing mountain communities flourished, trading in olive oil, olives, fruit, chestnuts, silk and wood and transporting their goods to the sea on mules.

Despite the years that passed by, many of the traditional roads are still in very good shape due to efforts done by local communities.

The residence is located 54 kilometers from Volos in Lafkos, one of the most beautiful villages of South Pelion.

The quaint village is famous because of the beautiful square without any cars and his delicious taverns.

It is also home to the oldest coffee shop in Greece, which exists since 1775.

Our vacation Home is just two minutes away from the square, combined the rural charm of country style with a touch of modern architecture.

It is made as a place to be for passionate and attentive people, whether it is summer, autumn, winter or spring.

Settled 330m above the sea, the cottage is overlooking an old spring and border’s directly on the green valley below the hill.

Opposite you can see the small Byzantine chapel Ag. Paraskevi and the whole mountains of the southern peninsula.

Right down from the house begins the Kalderimi going across a hill to the small coastal town Milina.

45 minutes later, you have already arrived.

And just half an hour’s walk away, the panorama of the Aegean shines, with the island of Skiathos opposite.
