There are numerous other beaches around on South Pelion. Reachable within 20 minutes. Simply a choice depending on time, sun, weather and waves conditions.

Very often the water in the gulf resembles a lake or swimming pool and is ideal for all those water sports enthusiasts who value a calm sea.

The gulf is also most recommend if you like to go in the afternoon for swimming because of the sundown there.

Everywhere you will get the luxury of a shady sun lounger with service, and also secluded places where you can enjoy the perfect nature in silence and peace.

The peninsula is constantly changing its face. In the north, the fir forests at 1600 meters tell of the Central European highlands, and in the south, the dry nature and clear colors remembers the south of Italy.

The charming village Lafkos

In the center of this unique combination of land and sea, we rent out a holiday cottage.

The residence is located 54 kilometers from Volos in one of the most beautiful villages of South Pelion.

It is called Lafkos and famous because of the beautiful square without any cars and his delicious taverns.

It is also home to the oldest coffee shop in Greece, which exists since 1775. More about the charming village.

Opposite you can see the small Byzantine chapel Ag. Paraskevi and the whole mountains of the southern peninsula.

Right down begins the Kalderimi going across a hill to the small coastal town Milina.

45 minutes later, you have already arrived.

And just half an hour’s walkaway, the panorama of the Aegean shines, with the island of Skiathos opposite.

People who like to move around and not lazing on the beach all day, can ride our bikes to the beach in a few minutes and a 45-minute ride back up the mountain in the late afternoon light.

Alternatively, we also have a bike rack ready. Sunset time is stunningly beautiful in Milina as well as very picturesque in our amazing summerhouse.

At the end of the day you can have fun in an excellently equipped cottage, make cocktails, delicious dinners and BBQ, or enjoy the picturesque car free village square with its cool plane trees, playing children and excellent taverns.
